In order to make a 50% deposit on a preserve hunt without paying for it in full, here's what you do:
1) Calculate the total cost of your hunt, including: Land (full day/half day), Guide (guided/unguided), Bird Packages and/or a la Carte pheasant and quail, being sure to deduct any applicable discounts (such as the 10% member discount or the "save 20% when you spend $600" discount). Divide that total cost by 2.
2) Click on "DelMar Preserve Payments" near the top of the left navigational column.
3) Here you will see all of the payment options, but choose only "DEPOSIT". Each unit in the Deposit section represents one dollar. So, if your deposit calculated in step 1 above is $175, enter "175" next to the "add to cart" box. Then click "Go to Checkout"
4) Here you will fill in all of your registration info. Please include your firm's name if you represent a company. Click "submit" at the bottom.
5) You will now find yourself in the checkout process in step 2. Ignore the coupon box for now. Drop down to the special instructions box. In this box, please type: Date and time you will arrive, the land option you have selected (half day or full), if you need a guide, the bird package(s) chosen, extra birds, and the specific mix of pheasant vs quail you expect.
6) Click "Continue to Checkout". There, you will be presented with a summary of everything you have just typed in. Please review it for accuracy, and if its ok, click "Confirm your Order". From there you will be taken to the card processing page, where you can either pay with Paypal or with any major credit card without signing up for Paypal. The card option will be at the bottom of the page.
